Comparing Maitreya, Belleza, Slink and TMP (NSFW)

SL sucks and I took all useful supportive posts down.

  1. maitreya is my fave at the moment. with slink coming in at a close second. mostly due to the butt shape but also the number of alpha cuts! i’m also quite smitten with their buttons that turn the legs and arms on and off instead of having to click each little leg and arm slice and from a creator standpoint i love them because they support the omega applier system so i don’t have to make additional huds for their body.

  2. Well my fav is Maitreya by far, i tried to use TPM body, and as you said i think its very complicated, and i noticed that TPM mesh body looks “bigger” in many senses, if you not careful you will look very very voluptuous. So if you are a sexy bombshel be careful.
I use Maitreya on daily basis, it’s slimmer and fit almost all my mesh clothes, i can use the Omega applier too if i want and its great, because a lot of goos stuff comes with omega appliers.
Slink, i only have the hands and feet, i never look to purchase the body, i love my elegant hands from slink, but i have to say that i had problems with the blenders, my skin has not pre setted RGB for slink. And it proved to be a big issue, so right now I’m investing in shoes for maitreya body. When you use the original feet and hands for maitreya its by far more realistic. The alphas can be a problem for some clothes, sometimes i have to wear a larger size. But definetlly Maitreya is a keeper. Im thinking about try the Belleza one, after reading your post.
    XOXO

    • There is supposedly a Belleza update on the horizon i would wait for that, because when it comes to performance Maitreya and Belleza are about on par except Maitreya does the alpha zones better!

  3. You seriously need to work better on these shapes, sorry. Damn, TMP is probably the body with the sweeted curves, you can make a very graceful shape when you proportion right the shoulders and the legs (and feet! why did you make so tiny feet and so big shoulders?)

TMP is my favorite so far, the easiest to shape (easy to be slim with sexy curves), and with the neck tattoo, you can keep the beautiful TMP original skin which is already in the hud, with your favorite skin for the face. I would prefer a compatibility with SLink, though and a less complex hud. But you easily get used to the hud, not a big deal. Ah, and an alpha hud more detailed, too (I like the Maitreya one)

My second is Maitreya, but the TMP thighs and butt are more attractive, didn’t find a way to make curved thighs (with a gap) which didn’t look big. And I love Belleza perky breasts (but not the big shoulders, they look too “sportive”)

    • The reason I did not use my modified shapes I make for every body is to give a out of the box comparison. Clearly I do have a TMP specific shape that I dialed way the hell down cause those legs are a little thick and the butt too high. But you can not fairly compare something when you have the best possible shape dialed in because then you are not comparing the thing based on the same thing underneath which is the nature of this comparison, so I used the shape I wear when I am not using a mesh body at all but the standard SL body I have for system layer clothing. For fairness of the comparison.

As for breasts yeah I wish mesh bodies would come in pieces I’d put several of them together but the TMP one I would not have purchased personally I only wear it when something calls for TMP that I am being given it is my least personal fave out of them all. The shoulders and butt are a constant point of contention with mesh clothing I’d like to wear to the point where I alpha so much out I might as well not wear a mesh body at all.

  4. I totally get that about the TMP body. that one was a regret buy for me. my favorite body is wowmeh. But with it being taken off the market and all I may give belleza a try.
