A night at the ball

Formal wear.. I love it! Horus had found this awesome tux a few days ago and it was decided we needed to dress up and do formal. It took me a good long time to find a dress to match his tux but in the end I did and what a dress it is. I can tell you right now it is from Dead Dollz and it is a limited edition, I bought number 71 a few days ago so if you want one of these there are not a whole lot left. The cut off is at 100!

We did these images in a green box and I added the backgrounds in photoshop, so there is no location for these shots, one of the images was rendered by yours truly the other one is a little older from one of my projects from a few years ago.

Enough talking I’ll get started!

I’m usually not the kind of guy who you’ll find wearing formalwear, very special occasions aside, but I must admit that I love a good suit.  We’ve had suits in men’s fashion for a very long time, in one form or another, and for good reason: they’re almost timelessly stylish.

In contrast to the endless variety and constantly changing standards of female fashion in gowns and dresses, the suit does quite a lot within a comparatively limited archetype.  The smallest touches, differences in cut, line and texture, can have a pronounced effect and set ‘good suits’ apart from something that’s ‘just a suit’

Some wise advice I once heard: “Every man should have at least one good suit.” An idea I completely agree with and suggest be taken to heart.

On a side note, the Lapointe & Bastchild male formal wear is really impressive stuff.  Everything is HUD-driven with a very high variety of options for textures, in both the tux and the dress shoes, while once you’ve purchased the Tuxedo 2.0 you can get add-on HUDs for more even more texture options. – Horus

I adore ball gowns and formal wear, it is absolutely one of my favorite things to wear and sadly I have very few excuses to do so. Any occasion that may warrant formal wear I am all over it! As I mentioned before the dress is from Dead Dollz and there are only a few left, I was hesitant to buy it at first it is not every day that I will spent 1k Linden on a single thing, but Horus talked me into it and oh man I am happy he did the dress is even better form then it looks on the sign, I tried it on with both my Belleza and my TMP bodies it was extremely easy to fit them into there and not a whole lot alpha was needed beyond getting rid of parts of my legs. Oh yeah and after the shoot we totally went to Franks Elite Jazz Club to dance!  -Adira
